Classic Variety Works Fall Wedding
February 8, 2021

After dating long distance for 3 years, Stephanie and Brandon chose to tie the knot at the same small town they used to meet halfway in when driving back and forth to see each other. Their day was a sweet family centered celebration filled with heartfelt moments and lots of pizza (one of Stephanie and Brandon’s non-negotiables for a good celebration).
GETTING READY
It was the perfect Fall day in Madison Georgia as Stephanie and Brandon got ready to say their “I do’s”. Stephanie’s mom and bridesmaids helped her into her dress at the beautifully charming James Madison Inn. Cozied by the fireplace she got ready with her closest people by her side. I don’t know what it is about these sweet getting ready moments but they really get me. I think it’s the fact that you have all of your people in one room ready to celebrate you. Forget the fireplace, that is the most heartwarming thing of all!
DESIGN OF THE DAY
Stephanie describes her style as simple, elegant, and romantic. Their day was just that. Natural tones of green and touches of navy made up the classic color palette for their day. Their favorite weather is fall, so it only felt natural to get married on a crisp day in October. Stephanie’s bouquet was filled with eucalyptus, white roses, and bits of bright greenery. It was the perfect reflection to her natural style and love for the outdoors.
Stephanie and Brandon love to hike and spend time outdoors together. Their bistro light lined and woodsy venue at The Variety works was a beautiful and elegant ode to this important part of their relationship.
A FAMILY CENTERED DAY
After 3 years of being together, both of their families have become such a central and significant part of their relationship. When I asked about the inspiration of their wedding day, Stephanie said “We want to be married and share that special moment with our closest friends and family. They have loved us so well on both sides of our families from the moment that we started dating, and we just really want to celebrate such a happy occasion with everyone!” Oh my, cue the heart melt.
From sweet sister portraits, father-daughter moments, and a fun mother-son dance; their day had no shortage of touching family moments. It was a celebration of unity between their families and it was just the most fulfilling thing to be a part of.
Stephanie and Brandon’s day was sweet, natural, and genuine. I miss frolicking under the fall foliage and feeling my heart-beat witnessing those first dances; but for now featuring their special day is a close call!
