Feature | Romantic Foxhall Resort Wedding
January 24, 2021

A stunning summer celebration, teary eyed moments, sophisticated touches of gold, and overall a day filled with prayer, support, and an abundance of faith…Dina and Paul’s wedding day was the most incredible celebration and start to a beautiful marriage. I’ve been anxiously awaiting to share more of their day with you and I’m so excited to feature them on the blog today!
In my latest blog post, I shared some of my favorite images and moments from their heartfelt rehearsal dinner. To really set the stage for how intentional and welcoming their weekend was, give it a read!
You can also read more about their day on the Magnolia Rouge Feature!
Dina described their day as “joyful, sophisticated, and inclusive, and sentimental” and it was just that. I had to keep tissues handy the whole day, because of all of the heart melting moments.
INCLUSIVITY IN THEIR DAY
Right outside of Atlanta, at the stunningly elegant Foxhall Resort, Dina and Paul hosted what felt like an out of town retreat. They welcomed all of their guests with personalized welcome bags that they put together themselves (talk about personal touches). They included a monogrammed mini champagne, a sweet gift, and a custom map of the venue to ensure that everyone felt excited and in the know about where to be for the celebration!
GETTING READY
While Dina and her girls relaxed with mimosas in hand, Paul and his groomsmen went skeet shooting to kick off the day! Every single part of their day felt unique to them not only as a couple, but as people too.
They chose to exchange gifts and letters privately before their first look – resulting in some tear filled and lip quivering moments. Through the big, small, and in-between moments of their day, it was abundantly evident that Dina and Paul had a fiercely loyal, one of a kind, type of love.
FIRST LOOK
As Dina strolled down the rolling green hills of the Resort in her timelessly classy Winnie Couture gown, Paul anxiously awaited his bride beside the water.
After wiping the tears and several nose scrunching sentimental looks, it was time for some starry-eyed bride and groom portraits. Dina’s bouquet from Gardenia Floral Design was the perfect blend of romantic and timeless, to match their day and their love.
CEREMONY
Filled with what felt like thousands of cream colored florals and greenery; their ceremony space was warm, inviting, and effortlessly romantic.
Jesus and faith were at the center of Dina and Paul’s entire wedding day – their faith blended into all elements of their day from the gifts they exchanged each other, to the quiet prayers they had before their ceremony, even to the vows they shared. Every part of their day was intentional and faith based.
One of my favorite moments was the pre-ceremony prayers. Dina’s bridesmaids and Paul’s groomsmen prayed over them as individuals and it was a true testament to their hearts and faithfulness to put God at the center of their relationship.
COCKTAIL HOUR
Dina and Paul’s cocktail hour may take the cake for most inclusive and one of a kind design. Big white couches & chairs filled the grass and large gold shelves separated seating areas to create an elegant outdoor living space.
Gold accent vases and soft colored florals were abundantly placed in the set up. Oh, plus mini tacos and a selection of speciality cocktails. Talk about a cocktail hour you never actually want to end.
RECEPTION
Tables lit with star-like candles, champagne in hand, a glass never empty, and chairs filled with faces that feel like home. Dina and Paul’s reception was the perfect end to their sentimental day. The elegantly designed resort hall also made for one epic party space. Ending the night with a sneaker change (the only top-notch dance shoe) and an unforgettable dance party, was the way I think every night should end (If only!).
Dina and Paul’s day was joy-filled and heartfelt at every moment. Cheer’s to them and their greatest adventure!
