Meet Reagan!

AOP Team

December 18, 2018

I’m so excited to officially introduce you all to Reagan! You’ve seen her sneaking around here for several months, and now it’s time you all got to know her! Reagan is quite possibly one of the kindest and servant-hearted people I’ve met, I just know you all are going to love her.

Reagan is our new Associate Photographer. She will be accepting weddings starting this coming Summer. We’ll be updating our site in the Spring with more of her work, but for now follow along on our social media accounts to see more of her work. You can also follow along with Reagan’s work and updates on Instagram

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I was born and raised in the beautiful Woodstock, Georgia. I was raised by a goofy dad, a loving mom, and a supporting older sister. I LOVE dogs, especially my sweet Rex. Rex is a Papillion-Maltese mix with the most expressive brown eyes. I am a freshman at Georgia State University, and I plan to get my Bachelors degree in business marketing.

Why do you love photography?

Growing up, my dad brought a camera everywhere we went. I remember hiking trips where he would ask us to pose, and we would huff and puff because all we wanted to do was run around. Back then, my sister and I hated all of the pictures, but now, I can look back to when I was younger and remember the moments that I would have otherwise forgotten. I love photography because it is a way to capture precious moments in time and preserve them forever.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about learning, coffee, serving others, traveling, art, music, the environment, and, of course, preserving memories through photography.

What does the perfect day look like to you?

Although traveling to new places and being outdoors excites me, my perfect day would be spent with my family and friends, inside watching movies and playing games. There’s nothing like spending time with the people you love and sharing laughs that make your belly hurt.

What music do you like?

Music is a big part of my day to day life. I love all kinds of music, from classics like Billy Joel and The Beatles to modern alternative, pop, and rap. Currently, my favorite artists are Twenty One Pilots, Daniel Caesar, Drake, LANY, and Colony House.

What is your favorite food?

Has anyone ever asked you, if you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? In all honesty, if I had to chose one food, it would be salad. I love adding different fruits and veggies to make a colorful bowl of yummy goodness. Call me crazy!

What is your current favorite book?

For the past year or so, my favorite book has been The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I have always loved to read, and am always looking for new books to dive into.

What do you love about a wedding?

What is not to love about a wedding day? I adore all the beautiful details and of course the flowers, but what I love most about a wedding day is all of the joy and love shared: the sweet moments between the bride and her mother and father, the moment the bride and groom see each other for the first time, and the first dances.

What is your favorite treat?

Ice cream. I am such a sucker for ice cream.

What is something not many people know about you?

I would love to have my own garden one day filled with home-grown, organic produce.

What are some of your hobbies?

Roaming around Atlanta and finding cute stores and coffee shops, going to museums, listening to podcasts (my favorite is The Minimalists Podcast ), making collages with inspiring photos and words from magazines, and cooking. I never really realized how much I loved to cook until I moved into my college dorm room with no kitchen. My love for cooking indubitably came from my mom, who always whips up the most delicious dishes and desserts.
