Oh goodness, this engagement session is close to my heart. I wish these two lived in Georgia because I’m sure they’d become close friends.
These two just packed up and moved to Colorado, but their journey started in sunny California, so naturally there was no better place to photograph them than where their love story began – San Fransisco!
Here’s their love story, straight from the couple!
We met February 20th, 2015 on the
Embarcadero in San Francisco.
Krista decided to celebrate her 28th birthday by traveling to San Francisco for the first time. After a day of exploring the city alone, she made plans to meet up with her friend Christopher at a whiskey & oyster bar on the Embarcadero. Luckily, Christopher invited his good friend, Pedro, to the happy hour since all three had lived in Austin, TX at the same time. Krista and Pedro actually lived a mile and a half from each other in Austin, but had never met…
Sparks flew, and eventually Pedro offered to show Krista around the city on her last day in town. He took her to Alamo Square, Golden Gate Park, and the Japanese Tea Garden. Over tea, they realized Pedro would be taking a few work trips to Dallas-Fort Worth, where she was living. Hang out again? Yup. We can do that.
Almost three years later, Pedro popped the question at sunset on the bench where Krista was sitting when they first met. The two now live in Colorado and the rest, as they say, is history!
I loved my time with Krista and Pedro, I can’t wait for their wedding in 2019 right here in Athens, Georgia.
