This engagement session is truly a joy to share. This past Christmas it was put on my heart to share the gift of photography to a couple who was looking for and in need of a wedding photographer. I got SO many entries to this giveaway. It was incredible.
But two couples really stole my heart. Patti and Justin were one of them. Y’all this couple is fiercely loved. Their friends and family filled my inbox with the most beautiful stories and said over and over again, “This is the most deserving and loving couple I’ve ever met.”
They’re so right.
Multiple people told me about their engagement story and I thought it sounded very sweet, but then when I actually watched Justin and Patti’s engagement video I CRIED MY EYES OUT! No exageration. If you haven’t watched it, stop reading this post now and watch this video. I know this video and their engagement story will be something beautiful they share with their family for years to come.
I don’t want to ruin the surprise (so go watch the video!), but Justin not only MADE (that’s right…that’s commitment my friends) Patti’s engagement ring himself, but hiked and hiked and hiked to hang up a “Will You Marry Me?” sign for her to discover. There are no words I can write to do this proposal story justice.
So when I met Patti and Justin for the first time in person to do their engagement session, I was pumped to say the least.
We started their engagement session at Cloverleaf Farms and embraced this beautiful quiet outdoor space. This was the perfect spot to start their session.
We then travelled through some country roads where these two ride their bikes together from time to time. Their outdoor spirit and love for spending intentional time together is beautiful. I love photographing couples in locations that have meaning and importance to them. That made this session even that much more meaningful.
Patti and Justin, your love and commitment to serving your community, your friends and family, and each other is incredibly beautiful. I am honored to help you preserve your legacy through photographs. I can’t wait to celebrate your marriage and capture your wedding this Spring!
